These tools address various pain points faced by Ag professionals, such as managing agronomy research trials, optimizing nutrients for growers at the field level, or enabling downstream suppliers to gain visibility and tracking of sustainability metrics of their sourced goods.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Account Executive to join our Go to Market team. A result driven and performance-based individual who is passionate about the agri-tech world whose main goal is to increase agmatix revenue by introducing and growing sales of our SaaS data based product to food and agriculture companies. This is an exceptional opportunity for any talent who is a go-getter. 


  • After prospect, qualify potential customers within assigned segments and territories 
  • Drive opportunities at the strategic and tactical level
  • Manage sales pipeline across new business and upsell opportunities to customers (food companies, ag companies and others) 
  • Responsible for the success of the POC with potential customers and their onboarding process. 
  • Contact customers throughout the life cycle to identify potential growth opportunities and maintain long-term account health and relationships with decision makers and stockholders 
  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams in negotiating, structuring, and quoting renewal contracts for highest possible renewal rates
  • Use HubSpot JIRA, Monday and Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Drive product adoption, share best practices, and implement growth and optimization strategies for maximum value and success
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets 
  • Timely and accurately update the CRM customer/partner information, forecasts, and pipeline data to ensure the generation of accurate management reports 

About you:

  • Dynamic, high energy sales professional with 7+ years of successful experience in sales domain, high level, executive selling of long cycle products. 
  • Proven commercial experience including track record of success in consistently hunting and closing business for SaaS Products
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic presence
  • Exceptional combination of strategic thinking and hands on execution 
  • Fearlessness - willing to hop on any meeting with new people every single day and explain agmatix value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with
  • Understanding customer needs including the ability to adapt and rephrase messages to fit different customer needs. 
  • Experience working in an global organization   
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly, fast learner with interest in technology and Data solutions
  • Must be a self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
  • Critical thinker, ability to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders
  • Highly analytical. Experienced analyzing data hands-on, able to present high-level information from multiple data sources and tactical info
  • High-level English reading and writing skills


  • Experience in the agri-food tech domain. 
  • Agronomic academic background
